Hello everyone! We are now in the 10th month of the year! We would like to share teacher anecdotes of what their daily activities were. Enjoy!~ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, we continued with the letter craft and did two types of fishing activities. We had a magnetic fishing game and another using tongs, and everyone enjoyed both. They especially liked the sensory play of using tongs to catch fish in water. Everyone repeated the activity several times. We also continued with yesterday’s fish art, painting the other side today. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

With our theme \u201cOrganisms,\u201d we would like to emphasize the importance of organisms in the ecosystem. We defined living things as organisms that take in nutrients, grow, move, breathe, and respond to stimuli. We later had our picture sorting activity and cutting practice. They had to cut out the pictures and determine whether it was a living or non-living thing. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

In the afternoon after our lunch, we did some handwriting practice, writing out some sentences. With our remaining time, everybody chose a colouring sheet to print off and colour.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Back at school, we finished our reading, then had music class. This month\u2019s song is \u2018I See The Light\u2019, the children remembered the lyrics pretty well and they sang along while our Music teacher was playing the piano. This afternoon we continued working on our recycled materials animals and decorated them with some feathers, pipe cleaners or pompoms.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
