\ud83c\udf1e Hello everyone!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re excited to give you a peek into life at Sunnyside<\/strong>! Each day, our amazing teacher captures all the fun, learning, and special moments happening in our classroom through class journals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thought it would be great to share these with you\u2014so you can see all the wonderful things we’re up to!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PreK Class <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0We introduced a new song using monkey finger puppets \u2014 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. In this song, the monkeys take turns falling off the bed while jumping, and the doctor tells them not to jump on the bed. After the song, we asked the children, \u201cDo you jump on your bed at home?\u201d and everyone shook their heads and said, \u201cNo.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

K1 Class <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, we moved into our loose parts play, which also ties into our STEAM learning theme\u00a0
of\u00a0building. Using a variety of blocks, the children collaborated to create some truly impressive structures, including a “Tokyo Tower” and a \u201cpolice station!\u201d. Their creativity and teamwork were on full display, and it was wonderful to see how engaged and imaginative they were.

K2 Class <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon after lunch, we had our journal and sentence writing practice. The topic today was, “What fruit do you like?” and we worked on writing neatly between the lines. We then did our phonics, working on some short “e” sound blends (en – hen, pen, and ed – red, bed).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

K3 Class <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon we did some math. We learned and talked about odd and even numbers. The children worked on worksheets which included counting and actively practicing deciding whether the number is odd or even<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunnyside International Kindergarten, an international school under J PREP company, would like to invite you to join our summer info session on July 25 (Friday) from 15:00-16:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the info session, free childcare for children ages 2-6 will be provided together with some fun activities for them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
