We\u2019re excited to give you a peek into life at Sunnyside<\/strong>! Each day, our amazing teacher captures all the fun, learning, and special moments happening in our classroom through class journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thought it would be great to share these with you\u2014so you can see all the wonderful things we\u2019re up to!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the game, we had planned to play ring toss using cones and small rings, but the children got so caught up in freely using the rings in imaginative ways \u2014 like putting them on their heads, peeking their faces through the holes, or pretending they were car steering wheels \u2014 that we let them continue to play creatively instead of stopping them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

This morning, we had a fun and engaging music session. The children continued practicing with their rhythm sticks, and we had a great time singing the “Pizza Song”, complete with actions like rolling, stirring, and grating! We also enjoyed some of our class favorites, such as \u201cKnife, Fork, Spoon, Spatula\u201d and \u201cIt\u2019s a Beautiful Day.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

In the afternoon after our lunch, we played a large-scale game of Snakes and Ladders on the whiteboard. We rolled 2 dice and added the total together to determine how many squares forward we would move.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Since it was rainy, we stayed indoors today and played with some of our friends. In the afternoon, we finished the card for our dads and had some loose parts play.. we noticed that other friends were using the horizontal bar and mats so joined them for a bit!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
