We’re excited to give you a peek into life at Sunnyside<\/strong>! Each day, our amazing teachers capture all the fun, learning, and special moments happening in our classroom through class journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thought it would be great to share these with you\u2014so you can see all the wonderful things we’re up to!<\/p>\n\n\n

For sensory play, we revisited the slime art we did the other day\u2014last time, the slime was too thick and peeled off the plastic film, so today we tried it on paper instead. (Trial and error is a part of science!)\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

In Phonics, we reviewed the sound of the letter I. We discussed words that begin with or include the \/I\/ sound and made it fun and engaging with chants and songs.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

In the afternoon after lunch, we learned about gravity as a continuation of our black hole theme. We then had several experiments to demonstrate the effects of gravity. We tried dropping objects with different mass, made a centre of gravity experiment with popsicle sticks and weights, and worked together to make a vertical marble run on the wall to test our theories with dropping small balls.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

In the afternoon, we continued with our writing practice booklets and listened to our classmate\u2019s Show and Tell! Everyone was excited to talk about the storybook that had been introduced.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunnyside International Kindergarten, an international school under J PREP company, would like to invite you to join our summer info session on July 25 (Friday) from 15:00-16:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the info session, free childcare for children ages 2-6 will be provided together with some fun activities for them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
