EX100 Foundation Course
This course covers the basics of grammar while paving the way for students to learn about the world around them.
This is a 2-hour All-English class that covers foundational grammar, reading, writing, and speaking.
This course covers the basic rules of grammar. In addition to the weekly inclass reading exercise, students are required to read at least 10 additional books of their choice per term and write book reviews for them. Students will learn 360 essential vocabulary in addition to 200 sight words. The writing section starts with a focus on improving students’ spelling skills before moving on to simple sentences.
Presentations are introduced in this level and they are held twice every term to build students’ confidence in the use of the English language.
Students are expected to spend at least 15 minutes a day at home to work on the homework assigned and to prepare for the weekly quizzes. Furthermore, students are able to access the Online Study App where they can practice weekly grammar, vocabulary and they can improve their pronunciation through weekly video submissions.

Online Study App
For International Kindergarten graduates and students returning after living abroad, a one-time weekly classroom lesson is insufficient for maintaining, let alone improving English skills.
In order to create an enjoyable atmosphere interacting with English outside of class time, we developed an original app which students can use to review grammar and vocabulary learned in class, and even practice for upcoming quizzes from home.
